What We Offer
Our Services:
A Star Tutoring is an e-learning platform that offers Mathematics tutoring online. We accept students from grades 5 through 12. Subjects offered range from Pre-Algebra to AP Calculus.
We tutor 8th-grade students who start Algebra before high school. We have established good tutoring standards for High School students who focus on higher-level Mathematics (PAP and AP) such as Algebra I, and II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus with Limits, and Trigonometry, as well as AP Calculus.
Standardized Testing Support:
We provide preparation for standardized college entrance exams such as SAT and ACT. For these particular exams, we apply special attention to question formats and materials covered by the tests, as well as identify the challenges that come with these tests.
Last but certainly not least, we provide preparation for students who must take the STAAR test.
Online Format Tutoring:
A Star Tutoring is an e-learning platform that offers online tutoring via Skype, Google Hangout, FaceTime, or Zoom, whichever is available for the student. Also, the center provides ongoing support through text messages, or instant chat via WhatsApp.
Pricing:
Online tutoring (by appointment only):
For 20 one-hour tutoring sessions, the price is $450, available for 2 months. That includes Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, and Geometry.
For 10 one-hour tutoring sessions, the price is $275/month. That includes Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, and Geometry.
For 10 one-hour tutoring sessions, the price is $300/month. That includes Pre-Calculus and Calculus AB/BC.
For college entrance exams such as SAT and ACT, the price is $350 for 10 one-hour tutoring sessions.
Impromptu tutoring sessions are also accepted depending on the time available for a price of $40/hour. Appointments should be scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
