In Person Format
In the event of reopening business at our physical location, this website will be updated well in advance. We want you to plan accordingly. Please note that we have strict safety measures in place. Our office will be sanitized before and after every tutoring appointment. We will adjust the structure of our office to meet social distancing standards. We highly recommend the students wear masks as they enter our office. Our tutors will be wearing masks and gloves during the hours of operations.

What We Offer
Our Services:
A Star Tutoring offers Mathematics tutoring face-to-face and/or online. We accept students from grades 5 through 12. Subjects offered range from Pre-Algebra to AP Calculus.
We tutor 8th grade students who start Algebra before high school. We have established good tutoring standards for High School students who focus on higher level Mathematics such as, Algebra I, II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus with Limits and Trigonometry, as well as AP Calculus.
Standardized Testing Support:
We provide preparation for standardized college entrance exams such as, SAT and ACT. For these particular exams, we apply special attention to question formats and materials covered by the tests, as well as identify the challenges that come with these tests.
Last but certainly not least, we provide preparation for students who must take the STAAR test.
Online Format Tutoring:
A Star Tutoring offers online tutoring via Skype, Google Hangout, FaceTime or Zoom, whichever is available for the student. Also, the center provides on-going support through emails, text messages or instant chat via WhatsApp.
Pricing:
Face-to-face tutoring (by appointment only):
For 20 one-hour tutoring sessions the price is $440, available for 2 months.
For 10 one-hour tutoring sessions the price is $250/month.
Online tutoring (by appointment only):
For 20 one-hour tutoring sessions the price is $380, available for 2 months.
For 10 one-hour tutoring sessions the price is $200/month.
Impromptu tutoring session are also accepted depending on the time available for a price of $40/hour. Appointments should be scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
